The Opportunity:
As a Pre-Prep Teacher Reception to Year 2, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds through engaging and inspiring lessons. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator to contribute to a school that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum for Reception, Year 1, or Year 2.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and stimulating learning environment.
- Take responsibility for a form class and support the academic and personal development of your students.
- Contribute to the running of an afterschool co-curricular club and attend open days.
- Support the school’s pastoral and academic life, including professional development and staff collaboration.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
- May have the opportunity to take on the role of Pre-Prep Literacy Lead with additional responsibilities and an annual allowance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage young learners.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities and school events.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting literacy initiatives.
- Background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL).
- Familiarity with independent or grammar school environments.
- Experience in delivering professional development or mentoring colleagues.
