Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school’s strategic direction and vision to ensure continuous improvement and academic success.

  • Develop and implement policies that align with the school’s leadership specialism and academic goals.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the local community.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Support the professional development of staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the school’s values and mission are embedded in all aspects of school life.
  • Work collaboratively with the academy trust to deliver the school’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Substantial experience in senior leadership and management within school settings.
  • Proven ability to create and lead a clear vision for a high-achieving school.
  • Strong commitment to the STAR values and a leadership specialism.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school within a multi-academy trust.
  • Demonstrated success in improving school performance and student outcomes.
  • Experience with leadership development programmes and character education.
