The Opportunity:

As a PSHE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the personal, social, and emotional development of students across Key Stages 3 to 5. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PSHE and RSE lessons tailored to the needs of students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that promote student progress and personal development.
  • Support students in developing resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing through a trauma-informed approach.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans.
  • Assist with school trips, enrichment activities, and the creation of PSHE and RSE resources.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment through effective communication and behaviour management.
  • Assess student progress and address any underperformance through targeted support and intervention.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in PSHE
  • Proven experience teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with SEND, including ADHD, ASD, and trauma-related needs
  • Experience with trauma-informed teaching practices
  • Experience in creating and delivering PSHE and RSE resources
  • Experience in safeguarding and student wellbeing support
