The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Psychology Teacher to join our successful Faculty of Science, Social Science, and Care. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality A Level Psychology and contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality A Level Psychology lessons to a range of students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and progression.
- Support the wider Faculty by contributing to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the Faculty.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Psychology and incorporate them into teaching practice.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience teaching A Level Psychology or a similar subject.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student success and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a Sixth Form College or further education setting.
- Knowledge of vocational courses or T Levels.
- Experience with extra-curricular activities or student support initiatives.
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and support for learners with additional needs.
