The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist and First Aider to support the smooth operation of the school and ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all members of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, students, parents, and staff warmly and professionally
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and visitor logs
  • Provide first aid assistance promptly in accordance with school policies
  • Coordinate communication between different departments as required
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in the maintenance of a welcoming and inclusive school atmosphere

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Diploma qualification or equivalent relevant certification
  • Minimum of one year experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role
  • Certified First Aider with up-to-date training
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

Preferred

  • Willingness to obtain first aid certification upon appointment
  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of Catholic values and ethos
