The Opportunity:
The Recruitment Administrator supports the recruitment team in delivering a professional and efficient hiring process for both Hiring Managers and candidates. This role is central to the school’s recruitment operations and requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding.
- Act as a superuser for the school’s Applicant Tracking System, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Conduct safeguarding interviews and verify candidate documentation, including right to work checks.
- Create and manage recruitment packs, including requesting references and performing online searches.
- Oversee the recruitment inbox, responding to queries and directing them appropriately.
- Prepare and distribute weekly vacancy roundups to all staff.
- Arrange complex interview schedules and support Hiring Managers with interview preparations.
- Make offers and provide feedback to candidates via phone where possible.
- Support the management of recruitment agencies and ensure compliance with school policies.
- Assist with the onboarding of new joiners, including liaising with payroll, IT, and other internal teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a busy administrative role with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment technology, including LinkedIn and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience with InDesign or other editing software.
- Previous experience in a recruitment or HR team.
- Ability to create engaging job adverts and shortlisting matrices.
- Experience with candidate searches on LinkedIn.
