The Opportunity:

As a Regional Director and Executive Principal, you will lead and support a portfolio of primary and secondary schools in Bradford, driving improvement and raising standards. This role offers the chance to shape the future of education and make a real impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead a portfolio of schools, including three secondaries and four primary schools, to ensure consistent improvement and high standards.
  • Identify priorities and implement effective interventions to improve pupil outcomes and school performance.
  • Support and develop school Principals, providing guidance and coaching to enhance their leadership and practice.
  • Deliver strategic and operational planning to ensure long-term success across the school cluster.
  • Model best practice in leadership and pedagogy, adapting approaches to meet the needs of diverse school contexts.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local stakeholders and communities.
  • Hold school leaders accountable for outcomes and ensure continuous improvement in standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a successful Principal, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop school leaders to improve standards and outcomes.
  • Experience in school improvement and implementing effective school-to-school support strategies.
  • Strong strategic and operational planning skills with a focus on sustainable change.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in diverse contexts.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing and leading multi-academy trusts or school clusters.
  • Familiarity with the benefits and dynamics of regional partnerships.
  • Background in professional development and leadership training.
