Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements and inspire a love of learning.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • The ability to teach Religious Studies to GCSE standard
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching methods

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a leadership or character development specialism
  • Experience working in a disadvantaged community
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
