The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our growing department. This role will involve delivering high-quality lessons to students of all abilities and contributing to the development of a dynamic and inclusive curriculum. The successful candidate will be a key part of a supportive and collaborative teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons to students across all key stages.
  • Work closely with the head of faculty to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Model excellent teaching practice and inspire colleagues through effective lesson delivery.
  • Participate in a tailored Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals through inclusive and inspiring teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Education.
  • Experience of teaching to GCSE and A Level standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Familiarity with A Level Philosophy and Ethics.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
