Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Citizenship, Sociology, Psychology, and Politics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Inspire and engage students of all abilities, fostering a love of learning and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Social Sciences curriculum.
• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme, offering additional learning opportunities.
• Participate in a bespoke Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme tailored to your needs.
• Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals through effective teaching and pastoral care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Social Sciences, including Citizenship and at least one A Level subject (e.g., Psychology or Sociology).
• Proven ability to engage and inspire students across a range of abilities.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant examination specifications.
• Experience in contributing to the development of a subject faculty.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching A Level Psychology and Sociology.
• Experience in leading or supporting extra-curricular activities.
• Familiarity with Catholic education and values.
• Experience in delivering CPD or mentoring other teachers.
