Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across a range of age groups and abilities.
  • Support the continued success and development of the RE department through collaboration and innovation.
  • Engage students in meaningful learning experiences that promote respect, responsibility, and readiness to learn.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide a fully supported ECT programme and bespoke CPD opportunities.
  • Contribute to a school culture that values inclusivity, community, and student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education across a range of age groups and abilities.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Preferred

  • Experience with pastoral care or student support.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular and leadership opportunities within a school setting.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language or other relevant subjects.
