The Opportunity:

As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school. You will provide essential administrative support to the school office and assist with a wide range of duties that contribute to the school’s success and student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer office telephone calls and emails, receiving enquiries from staff, students, parents, tradesmen, and members of the general public
  • Support the Educational Visits Co-ordinator and Careers Lead in arranging trips, visits, and events
  • Maintain and manage student filing and archiving systems
  • Coordinate and provide refreshments and hospitality for school events and visitors
  • Assist with curriculum administrative support for academic staff
  • Cover reception duties when required
  • Manage internal and external post
  • Administer first aid when required
  • Order stationary, medical, and staff kitchen supplies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Proficiency in using office software and systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience in managing events or hospitality
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures
  • Experience with educational visits or careers guidance
  • Familiarity with student administration systems
