The Opportunity:
As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school. You will provide essential administrative support to the school office and assist with a wide range of duties that contribute to the school’s success and student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer office telephone calls and emails, receiving enquiries from staff, students, parents, tradesmen, and members of the general public
- Support the Educational Visits Co-ordinator and Careers Lead in arranging trips, visits, and events
- Maintain and manage student filing and archiving systems
- Coordinate and provide refreshments and hospitality for school events and visitors
- Assist with curriculum administrative support for academic staff
- Cover reception duties when required
- Manage internal and external post
- Administer first aid when required
- Order stationary, medical, and staff kitchen supplies
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Proficiency in using office software and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience in managing events or hospitality
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Experience with educational visits or careers guidance
- Familiarity with student administration systems
