The Opportunity:
As a School Business Manager, you will provide essential support to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively. This role is central to maintaining a high-quality learning environment for students and staff alike. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s mission of fostering leadership and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial, HR, and business operations across the school.
- Develop and implement effective systems for premises management and ICT administration.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including governors and external agencies, to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, teachers, and wider stakeholders.
- Support the school’s leadership programme by ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive continuous improvement in school operations.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior management and external bodies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Experience in management within a public or private sector setting.
- Demonstrated experience in financial, HR, business, and/or premises operations.
- Strong knowledge of ICT administration systems.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write reports for a range of stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience working within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with school leadership programmes.
- A passion for supporting student development and academic success.
