The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated School Minibus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of students. This role is essential to the daily operations of the school and plays a vital part in supporting student wellbeing and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school on scheduled routes
• Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks
• Maintain the minibus in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and appropriate behaviour of students during transit
• Complete accurate driving, mileage, and safety records
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and school policies
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Assist with loading and unloading students as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A valid driving licence (PSV Licence required)
• A clean driving record
• Previous driving experience, preferably in school or community transport
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
• Calm, friendly, and professional attitude
• Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety

Preferred

• D1 category driving licence
• Experience with school transport systems or record-keeping
• Familiarity with child safety protocols
