Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science lessons to GCSE standard, inspiring a love of learning and achieving positive student outcomes.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s leadership and character development programme.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to improve attainment.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student performance and progress.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and safeguarding.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of delivering outstanding attainment and achievement at GCSE level.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate students through creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a faith-based or leadership-focused school environment.
- Experience with curriculum development and leadership programme delivery.
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
