The Opportunity:

As a Science Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting practical science lessons and ensuring a safe, well-equipped learning environment. Your work will directly impact the quality of science education and the hands-on experiences of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials, chemicals, and equipment for practical lessons
  • Set up and clear away experiments efficiently and safely
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and manage inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Support teachers and students during practical activities
  • Assist in the delivery of assessments
  • Order supplies as needed and manage stock levels

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a laboratory or educational setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle laboratory equipment and chemicals safely
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to health and safety standards

Preferred

  • Previous experience as a Science Technician
