Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and international qualifications.
- Foster student creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills through engaging and hands-on learning experiences.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote student achievement and personal growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Stay up to date with developments in Design Technology and integrate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Support students in developing confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of personal and academic responsibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
- A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
- Extensive experience teaching the National Curriculum of England, including IGCSE, AS/A Level, and the International Baccalaureate (IB).
- Exceptional subject knowledge in Design Technology.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Strong commitment to contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international school setting.
- Experience with cross-curricular and project-based learning.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching technologies and tools.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
