The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Librarian, you will lead the development of a dynamic library hub and support IBDP students with research, academic integrity, and inquiry-based learning. This role is central to fostering a strong reading culture and promoting information literacy across the Secondary School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and day-to-day management of the Secondary Library
• Drive a whole-school approach to information literacy and research skills
• Collaborate with teachers to embed inquiry-based learning across the curriculum
• Support students with research, referencing, and academic integrity
• Provide targeted support for IBDP (Extended Essay, TOK, Internal Assessments)
• Develop and promote a strong reading culture through programs and events
• Curate high-quality print and digital resources aligned with curriculum needs
• Manage library systems, digital platforms, and resource provision

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a school or academic library
• Strong understanding of research skills, digital literacy, and academic integrity
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Preferred

• Library qualification or teaching qualification
• Experience supporting IBDP or inquiry-based learning
