The Opportunity:

As a SEND Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities. This is a vital position that ensures all students receive the individualized support they need to succeed. Your work will directly contribute to a school’s mission of enabling all to excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate SEND support services across the school.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and interventions.
  • Organize and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on inclusive practices and SEND policies.
  • Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives focused on student well-being and academic success.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to the development of school policies related to SEND.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for SEND provision.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as an Administrator or in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to providing exceptional support to students and staff.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Knowledge of SEND policies and best practices.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-agency support for students.
