Senior Maths Curriculum Manager opportunity with a forward-thinking institution in East London.

The Opportunity:

As a Senior Maths Curriculum Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the school's Maths provision and driving academic excellence. This is an opportunity to lead and inspire the next generation of learners while contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Maths courses and operational delivery within the school.
  • Teach between 288–400 hours per year, with flexibility to support across campuses.
  • Carry out line-management duties, including staff development, performance reviews, and classroom observations.
  • Support curriculum innovation, quality assurance, and student progress.
  • Deputise for senior leadership when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a relevant degree or professional qualification in Maths or a related subject, and ideally a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have substantial teaching experience and a strong understanding of curriculum development, quality assurance, and student engagement.
  • Able to manage staff performance, support development, and lead curriculum teams effectively.
  • Skilled in planning, budgeting, and using data to drive improvements.
  • Understand and actively promote Equality, Diversity, and Safeguarding in all aspects of the role.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum innovation and quality assurance.
  • Experience in a leadership or management role within education.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
