Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective vocal instruction across a range of musical styles and genres.
- Develop and maintain a personal timetable, sourcing resources and repertoire independently.
- Communicate directly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and payment.
- Support or lead ensembles or other musical activities, as opportunities arise.
- Collaborate with the Director of Music and Music Department Administrator for guidance and support.
- Maintain a high standard of teaching and uphold the school’s values and ethos.
- Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment programme.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a singing teacher or in a related field.
- Strong vocal and musical abilities with a deep understanding of various styles and genres.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage your own timetable and resources effectively.
- Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
Preferred
- Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Experience in ensemble or group teaching.
- Familiarity with Catholic education values and principles.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with music technology and digital resources.
