The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the school premises to ensure a safe, clean, and well-kept environment
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance tasks, including repairs and general upkeep
- Support the school community by ensuring all areas are accessible and in good condition
- Work closely with staff and external contractors to manage projects and improvements
- Monitor and report on the condition of school buildings and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies
- Assist with events and activities by providing a well-maintained venue
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents regarding site-related matters
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Experience in premises management or maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear and friendly communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of the school community
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks
- Experience with using tools and equipment for maintenance work
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
