The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the school premises to ensure a safe, clean, and well-kept environment
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance tasks, including repairs and general upkeep
  • Support the school community by ensuring all areas are accessible and in good condition
  • Work closely with staff and external contractors to manage projects and improvements
  • Monitor and report on the condition of school buildings and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies
  • Assist with events and activities by providing a well-maintained venue
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents regarding site-related matters

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Experience in premises management or maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear and friendly communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of the school community

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
