The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead the strategic development of the Sixth Form.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and improve student progress, behaviour, and attainment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student experiences.
  • Manage and develop Sixth Form policies and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect.
  • Represent the Sixth Form at internal and external events.
  • Ensure effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Sixth Form management and student welfare.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Relevant teaching or leadership qualifications.

Preferred

  • Experience in a large, high-achieving school environment.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school improvement strategies.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support systems.
  • Leadership in a diverse and inclusive school setting.
