The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join its MFL team. This is a part-time, fixed-term role with the opportunity to support students in developing their language skills and achieving success in GCSE Spanish. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring students and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Spanish lessons that challenge and inspire students
  • Support students in developing their language skills and preparing for GCSE examinations
  • Encourage high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
  • Collaborate with the MFL team to enhance the department’s overall performance
  • Act as a positive role model and mentor to students
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the MFL curriculum
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Spanish at GCSE level
  • Commitment to developing students’ language skills and confidence
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Experience working in a Church of England school
  • Previous experience with curriculum development
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and best practices in education
