The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic and growing team as a Speech and Language Therapist, making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people. This role offers the chance to work in school settings with potential for clinic and remote-based work, while supporting the development of individualised intervention plans and EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people’s communication and language needs for Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Develop and implement individualised intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the child’s daily environment.
  • Provide training and upskilling to key adults to support the child’s progress and achievement of therapy goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated and holistic care for children with complex needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Work flexibly across school, clinic, and remote settings to deliver consistent and high-quality care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a paediatric setting.
  • Experience with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and SLT provision in a school setting.
  • Experience working with complex behaviours.
  • Specialist CPD and/or training.
  • Trauma-Informed care experience.
  • Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £55,000 FTE, dependent on experience, with a welcome bonus of £2000.
