The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Teacher (Casual) to deliver high-quality swimming lessons as part of our expanding Bolton School Swim Scheme. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students while working within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during lessons.
• Follow the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming and participate in CPD training.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and skill development.
• Work flexible hours, primarily in the evenings and on weekends.
• Collaborate with other staff and departments to support the school’s swimming program.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the swimming pool area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching swimming to children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to student safety and welfare.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
• Experience in delivering lessons to a range of age groups.
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• First aid and water safety qualifications.
