Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of swimming sessions tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all swimming-related activities
• Assist with pool operations and health and safety procedures
• Liaise with internal staff to coordinate student needs and support
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks related to swimming programs
• Follow all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and data protection guidelines
• Participate in training sessions related to medical and safeguarding protocols
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to enhance student experiences

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in supporting students with special educational needs in a physical activity setting
• Knowledge of moving and handling practices (training will be provided)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to complete medical and safeguarding training
• Ability to work within a structured and supportive environment

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting
• Experience with swimming or physical activity programs for children
• Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
