Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pool operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Deliver engaging and safe swimming sessions tailored to student needs
• Support safeguarding, medical, and pupil welfare requirements
• Liaise effectively with internal contacts and maintain clear communication
• Plan and administer swimming schedules and related documentation
• Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and data protection

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Accredited Swimming Instructor qualification
• Strong understanding of pool health and safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage pool operations and documentation effectively
• Experience working with students with complex needs and disabilities

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Experience with special educational needs and disabilities
