Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a vibrant and ambitious Art curriculum to students in the Prep and lower Senior years.
• Foster curiosity, resilience, and independent thinking in students.
• Support pupils with artistic promise in developing strong portfolios and creative confidence.
• Prepare students for scholarship pathways and academic progression.
• Contribute to the broader life of the school through pastoral and co-curricular involvement.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and promptly report any concerns to the designated lead.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Art education.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Strong knowledge of Art and its application in education.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Minimum 0.6 FTE availability for full-time or part-time roles.

Preferred

• Experience teaching across multiple age groups.
• Familiarity with scholarship preparation and portfolio development.
• Involvement in co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
• Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
