The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, student-centred lessons in Chemistry at A Level.
- Design and develop innovative and engaging teaching resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Support the development of students through pastoral care and guidance.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Chemistry.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Chemistry education.
- Strong background in teaching A Level Chemistry, preferably within a college or school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver creative and impactful lessons.
- Commitment to student-centred learning and pastoral care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching in a college or sixth form setting.
- Familiarity with vocational and T Level courses.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching.
