The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of Mathematics to join its successful faculty. This role involves teaching up to A Level, providing individualised support, and contributing to the school’s pastoral system. The position is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics up to A Level with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Support individual student learning and provide tailored feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s Mathematics curriculum.
• Participate in pastoral duties and support student well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the faculty.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Commitment to inclusive and student-centred teaching practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience teaching A Level Further Mathematics.
• Experience working with ECTs or in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with the Girls Day School Trust and its values.
• Experience in developing and delivering enrichment activities.
