Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Develop deep, secure and connected understanding of mathematics for all learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum design and teaching approaches.
• Motivate and inspire students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, academic rigour and inclusion.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to whole-school learning initiatives.
• Work closely with the Maths Faculty and local Maths Hub to ensure pedagogy remains at the forefront of mathematics education.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching mathematics.
• Strong understanding of how pupils learn mathematics.
• Commitment to developing deep, secure and connected understanding in learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum design and sequencing.
• Involvement in professional networks or Maths Hubs.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on inclusion and student progress.
