The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons that are engaging and challenging
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that supports student creativity and performance skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and Trust to enhance student learning experiences
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individual and group activities
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with school policies and standards
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Attend professional development and training sessions as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Performing Arts
  • Strong knowledge of Performing Arts curriculum and pedagogy
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusion
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
  • Experience with teaching students aged 11-16
  • Experience in leading extracurricular Performing Arts activities
  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction
