Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Psychology and Sociology curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes at both GCSE and A level.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities related to Social Sciences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Psychology.
  • Experience in teaching Psychology at Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative teaching methods.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Sociology.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in delivering extra-curricular activities.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
