The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable practitioner to take on a hybrid role as a Year 4 Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor. This is a dynamic position that combines school-wide internal cover with focused support in Year 4, a critical year for academic and pastoral development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality internal cover across Key Stages 1 and 2
• Follow teacher planning and maintain positive routines and behaviour
• Support learning through small-group and individual work with Year 4 class teachers
• Provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Contribute to school life, duties, events, and the extensive club provision

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Hold HLTA status or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confidence in delivering and supporting curriculum content across Reception, KS1 and KS2
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or EAL

Preferred
