Key Responsibilities:
- Support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences to children
- Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote student engagement and learning
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
- Work flexibly and adaptably within a team-oriented environment
- Take initiative in supporting the school’s vision and values
- Contribute to the development of a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with the management of classroom resources and materials
- Support the implementation of the school’s Catholic foundation and values
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant professional qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the values of a Catholic foundation
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
Preferred
- Experience in a co-educational setting
- Knowledge of child development and learning strategies
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Experience with teaching English as a second language
