The Opportunity:

Join a Hearing Resource Base as a Teaching Assistant Level 3 and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive school environment. This role supports students with hearing needs and plays a key part in promoting a respectful and supportive learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with hearing needs in a Hearing Resource Base setting
  • Assist in the delivery of lessons and learning activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behavior
  • Attend all staff training days and participate in professional development
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and teachers
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of hearing support equipment
  • Promote positive behavior and respect within the school community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Two referees, one of whom should be your current or most recent employer
  • Fluency in spoken English

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with hearing needs
  • Previous experience in a teaching or support role
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices
  • Experience with assistive listening technology
