As a Teaching Assistant - Music, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s Music team and delivering engaging practical lessons to students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver practical music lessons under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Support students individually and in small groups during class.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to enhance music education.
  • Participate in school events and activities related to music.
  • Contribute to the development of creative and engaging lesson plans.
  • Provide constructive support to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a school environment, preferably in a creative department.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to high standards of education and student support.
  • Enthusiasm for music and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or assisting with music lessons.
  • Knowledge of music theory and practical instruments.
  • Experience with NVQ qualifications for Teaching Assistants.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work within a dynamic school setting.
