The Opportunity:

As a Tennis Coach, you will be instrumental in developing the tennis program for girls and boys at all levels, from beginner to elite. You will work closely with the Head of Tennis to create a dynamic and engaging environment that fosters a love for the sport and helps students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tennis coaching programs tailored to students of all abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Tennis to plan and execute training sessions and competitions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Support students in achieving personal and team goals through structured coaching and mentorship.
  • Maintain and promote the use of high-quality tennis facilities and equipment.
  • Organize and manage tennis-related events and tournaments.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Promote the school’s tennis program to students, parents, and the wider community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in playing or coaching tennis to a high standard.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to student development and sports excellence.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or experience in a school or club setting.

Preferred

  • Experience coaching at both competitive and recreational levels.
  • Familiarity with tournament organization and event management.
  • Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles.
  • Experience with teaching students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
