As Vice Principal for Behaviour and Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive and inclusive school culture. You will lead initiatives that promote strong attendance, positive relationships, and a shared sense of community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and embed clear systems and expectations for behaviour and culture across the school.
  • Support staff in delivering consistent practice and maintaining high standards of behaviour.
  • Use data and insight to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Champion the school’s core values of Trust, Kindness, and Endeavour in all aspects of leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment with school vision and goals.
  • Play a key role in safeguarding, pastoral care, and staff development initiatives.
  • Foster a sense of community and inclusivity across the school.
  • Monitor and report on attendance, behaviour, and student well-being metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management, pastoral care, and school culture.
  • Experience in driving improvement through data and insight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and staff.
  • Commitment to the values of Trust, Kindness, and Endeavour.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school leadership role, ideally at a senior level.
  • Background in safeguarding and pastoral care.
  • Experience in staff development and training.
  • Familiarity with coaching and professional development methodologies.
  • Experience within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization.
