Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the school’s pastoral, inclusion, and personal development strategies.
  • Support the Principal in delivering a high-quality educational experience for all students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes well-being and personal growth.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure consistent and effective pastoral care across the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of pastoral and personal development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to support student needs.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures related to inclusion and pastoral care are up to date and followed.
  • Provide professional development and support for staff in pastoral and inclusion areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership and management within a school setting.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Strong commitment to the school’s values and mission.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care, inclusion, and personal development.
  • Experience working in a faith-based or diverse educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with leadership programmes and character development initiatives.
