The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Visiting Singing Teacher - Pop & Contemporary to deliver high-quality singing lessons and lead a specialist pop choir. This role offers the opportunity to work with talented students in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective singing lessons tailored to Pop & Contemporary styles.
  • Manage and lead a specialist pop choir, fostering musical development and performance skills.
  • Collaborate with the Music School Manager to ensure smooth administrative and contractual processes.
  • Maintain a professional and consistent approach to teaching and student engagement.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents on progress and development.
  • Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
  • Participate in school events and performances as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in teaching singing, particularly in Pop & Contemporary styles.
  • Strong musical ability and performance experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working with young people in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with using digital tools for teaching and communication.
  • Experience in leading or coaching choirs or vocal ensembles.
