The Opportunity:

As a Wellness Centre Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff in the Wellness Centre. This role is integral to supporting the school’s commitment to student wellbeing, working alongside medical, counselling, and SEND support teams to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Centre, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for all visitors.
  • Coordinate with medical, counselling, and SEND support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, pupils, and staff, providing information and support as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student wellbeing and support services.
  • Support the implementation of wellbeing initiatives and policies across the school.
  • Liaise with external professionals, such as healthcare providers and counsellors, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
  • Assist with the organisation of wellbeing-related events and activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with students, parents, and staff at all levels.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with the ability to follow procedures and policies strictly.
  • Experience in a school or similar environment, with an understanding of pastoral care and wellbeing support.

Preferred

  • Experience in a wellbeing or pastoral care setting, such as a school wellness centre or youth support organisation.
  • Knowledge of SEND support processes and procedures.
  • Experience working with medical or counselling professionals.
  • Understanding of mental health and wellbeing initiatives in an educational context.
