The Opportunity:

As a Wraparound Care Leader and Clubs Coordinator, you will lead and manage the school’s before- and after-school care programme and oversee a dynamic extra-curricular clubs programme for girls aged 4–11. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment that supports both pupils and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver high-quality before- and after-school care for pupils aged 4–11.
  • Oversee the planning, organisation, and delivery of a stimulating and diverse extra-curricular clubs programme.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports the emotional and developmental needs of pupils.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure consistency in pastoral care and student well-being.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to provide a seamless extended-day experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and club activities, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the school’s mission and values through all aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in managing and leading childcare or youth care environments.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young children.
  • Experience in developing and delivering structured activities and programmes.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently, often outside of standard school hours.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and best practices in early years education.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities or clubs for children.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies.
